The Tereweng Island in Micronesia is the inspiration for this lovely photo album. It was designed and created by local craftspeople on the island of Bali, which has inspired many a tropical love story.
And what is it made of, you might ask. Entirely local, organic, non-endangered, renewable materials. How about alang grass and dried banana and hibiscus leaves. And floral parts from ginger, lotus and lillie. An occasional sea shell, some twigs, and roping from coconut fiber. Some lamtoro seed pods, recycled rice paper and kava plant parts.
All of these exotic components are used to make this line of albums. And the Tereweng album is long on eye-catching design with textured dry leaves the background for the Indian elephant centerpiece.
